Prior to his involvement as one of the originators of PAIDF, Mr Mahloele headed the Corporate Finance and Isibaya Fund Division of the PIC (the largest investment manager in South Africa with over USD90 billion under management) and was the recipient of two recognition awards from the Association of Black Securities and Investment Professionals (ABSIP) for his work. Mr Mahloele also previously headed the Private Sector Investment arm of DBSA. He has further worked for Rand Merchant Bank and the Commonwealth Development Corporation.

Mr Wessels joined the company from Absa/Barclays in 2007. He has a BCom Honours, Certificate in the Theory of Accountancy (CTA ), Higher Certificate Financial Markets. Before joining Harith, Mr Wessels had over 10 years of experience as Senior Consultant for Absa Capital and he was responsible for Project and Infrastructure Finance. Prior to this he occupied different positions (Business Consultant, Financial Manager/Director, Managing Director) in companies operating in the manufacturing and construction industries.
Head of Corporate Advisory Services
She is a seasoned professional with many years of transactional experience in project finance, private equity, investment banking and corporate finance. Prior to working for Harith she was an executive at the Development Bank of Southern Africa. She worked for several financial institutions, including Public Investment Corporation where she funded and managed BEE transactions with the value of R43 billion; African Harvest Capital and ABN Amro, where she was employed in corporate advisory services. Prior to African Harvest Capital and ABN Amro, Pani also spent five years at the Development Bank of Southern Africa, working in the Project Finance Unit.

Before joining Harith he managed his own company for 8 years specialising in asset financing, risk management and co management.
Prior to this he enjoyed success in various senior positions in the manufacturing and service industries.
CA (SA), MBA
Sipho has over 10 years’ merchant banking experience. Prior to joining Harith, he worked for Investec Bank, Coronation Capital and African Merchant Bank in South Africa, with a focus on aircraft and plant and equipment financing, and various acquisition finance transactions. He is responsible for PAIDF’s CIVH (DFA) and Main One Investments.
Emile Du Toit
Head: PAIDF 2
Mr Du Toit, (CA) SA was Head of Corporate Finance at the Development Bank of Southern Africa in South Africa. He has over 11 years of relevant Corporate Finance experience, having joined the DBSA as an Investment Officer. He has been involved in many high profile transactions and currently serves as a Director and trustee in the governing boards of several institutions.

Formerly: Associate Editor and Political Editor at the Business Day, General Manager at BDFM, Journalist at Sowetan and New Nation. Former Committee member of the Advertising Media Association South Africa and National Editors Forum South Africa. Pule was also head of sales at CNBC Africa.
Investment Director in the Office of the CEO
Mr Morallane has a BCom Honours and an MBA. He has significant finance and telecommunications experience, with financial and management expertise gained from both the private and public sectors. He joined Vodacom SPRL in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1999 as Head of Financial Management, has worked for Vodacom South Africa in Midrand, the Limpopo Economic Development agency in South Africa as Group Finance Director and also served as a Chief Operating Officer. He serves in various boards, including the South African Road Agency, Limpopo Province, and Checkers/Shoprite (Propriety) Limited – Thohoyandou, Limpopo Province.
Legal and Risk Manager
Theli has been practicing law for 19 years. He started working as a public defender in the department of Justice. Theli was also a partner at Nompozolo and Gabelana attorneys and was also a partner at Gabelana attorneys. Theli worked at the special court for the Legal Aid board of South Africa and is currenly legal and risk manager at Harith General Partners.
Prior to joining Harith, Mr Steyn worked as a company secretary at institutions such as the Lethimvula Group. He also worked as a legal adviser at the Bophuthatswana National Development Corporation. Mr Steyn is a non-practising attorney.
